Mission Statement

Biddle, Jr. MD | GynCare ClinicGyn Care takes pride in practicing the healing ministries of Jesus Christ for women from all walks of life through various avenues--medically, surgically, mentally and spiritually. At Gyn Care, we understand what you expect from your physician and we strive to meet those expectations daily. With our training and over 47 years of combined experience, we are a woman’s best choice for healthcare. All of our physicians are either board certified or board eligible by the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Appointments

At Gyn Care, appointments are high in demand and fill up quickly. Please call to schedule your annual exam 1-2 months before it is due. Annual exams are routine for preventative care. Problem-related visits will be scheduled as soon as possible based upon urgency. Our appointment reminder system will call two days ahead to remind you of your scheduled appointment. Please be aware that your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment so that we can use that time to accommodate other patients. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. However after missing your second appointment without notifying us at least 24- hours in advance, you are subject to being charged an additional fee.

Office Visitation

We want to make your visits go as smoothly as possible. On your initial visit, we ask that you please view and fill out our New Patient Packet and submit it to us at least 24-hours prior to your visit. Click here to download, print and complete your form before you arrive. Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled appointment so that we can get your complete information, so that you can be seen in a timely manner. If you have pertinent records from a previous doctor, please arrange to have a copy of your records sent to us.

Due to limited seating we ask that you refrain from bringing any additional guests with the exception of a spouse or significant other. Minor patients must have a parent or legal guardian present during the entire visit. In order to provide quality service, children, cell phones, electronic/musical devices without headphones, food and drinks are strictly prohibited.

Medical Prescriptions

For your privacy and protection, Gyn Care’s policy regarding medical prescriptions require that all patients be seen by a physician prior to issuing or refilling any and all prescriptions. This enables us to ensure quality and accuracy in diagnosing as well as in monitoring your health.

Payment Options

We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Please ask us about financing options, credit card payments and bank drafts. We thoroughly explain your options so that we can accommodate your needs.

We accept all major credit cards. All financial arrangements are subject to approval by the office administrator, prior to your scheduled appointment. Payment is required in FULL at the time of service.

Insurance

Gyn Care is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. We have contractual relationships with many insurers and health plans. For those insurers in particular, as a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services, collect any required co-payment at the time of service and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid in full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

Unless we have a contract directly with the Insurance plan, we cannot accept the responsibility of negotiating claims. You, the patient, are responsible for payment of medical care regardless of the status of the medical claim. Your insurance plan is a contract between you and your insurance company. We cannot guarantee the payment of your claim. If your insurance company pays only a portion of the bill or denies the claim, any contact or explanation should be made directly to you, their policyholder. Reduction or rejection of your claim by your insurance company does not relieve the financial obligation you have incurred.

We are a preferred provider. Below is a list of some of the major insurances that we accept. If you have a plan that is not on the list, please call us to verify whether or not we accept it. We strive to accommodate our patients and will do our best to become properly networked with any insurance provider. Please bring your insurance card to every appointment, so that we can accurately bill for the services. This will save you time and phone calls later. Co-pays are due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards.

Test Results

For your convenience, you can retrieve your lab results by accessing the LabCalls system by phone at 800-439-0228, or via the Internet at www.mytestresults.com, using the provided PIN that we provide to you during your visit to ensure private access. For your privacy, the details of any and all lab results are NOT given over the phone--only the status of either normal or abnormal. It is our policy that patients with an abnormal lab schedule an appointment to receive further details.

Please refer to the following as our standard guideline for when to expect to receive results.

Pap Smear

Please allow 1-2 weeks for results to be available.

Mammogram

We refer patients out for mammograms. Results will be available within 1-2 weeks.

Blood Tests

Patients are referred for all blood tests. Please allow 3-5 business days for results.

Biopsy

Please allow 3-7 business days for biopsy results to be available.

Bone Density

We refer patients out for bone density studies. Results are available within 3-5 business days.
